Meet Marleen
I believe tech support should feel simple, personal, and built around real people not just devices.
I started Tech Aid after seeing too many good people friends, family, neighbours, and local businesses get overwhelmed by technology that was meant to make life easier. From syncing issues and confusing software to cybersecurity risks, I realised people didn’t just need tech support they needed clarity, confidence, and someone who speaks their language.
I’m Marleen Wilson, a mum of two, tech problem solver, and proud Te Anau local. My background spans emergency services, marketing, and the digital world, giving me a unique mix of people skills, strategic thinking, and real-world tech know-how. I’m not here to sell you solutions I’m here to make tech work for you.
Whether you're a business owner needing proactive IT support, or someone learning to use a smartphone for the first time, I bring patient, practical, and personalised guidance with no pressure and always a smile.
Tech Aid is about trusted, local support for homes, businesses, and everyone in between.
